mii-tool 설정을 이용한 NIC 속도 수동 설정

1. mii-tool 란?

Ethernet Card Interface 를 조정하는 역할

잘못설정할 경우 연결이 끊기게 된다. 즉 네트워크로 작업을 할 경우 서버에 접속이 안될수 있음.





[root@namhun /supp1]# mii-tool --help
usage: mii-tool [-VvRrwl] [-A media,... | -F media] [interface ...]
-V, --version display version information
-v, --verbose more verbose output
-R, --reset reset MII to poweron state
-r, --restart restart autonegotiation
-w, --watch monitor for link status changes
-l, --log with -w, write events to syslog
-A, --advertise=media,... advertise only specified media
-F, --force=media force specified media technology
media: 100baseT4, 100baseTx-FD, 100baseTx-HD, 10baseT-FD, 10baseT-HD,
(to advertise both HD and FD) 100baseTx, 10baseT




- 설정 방법

[root@namhun /supp1]# mii-tool eth0 -F 100baseTx-FD : 100baseT-Full Duplex



※왼만하면 오토로 사용하는게 좋다.
